What’s included

The income gap compares income after your chosen reserve with your annual take-home goal. The reserve is a simple percentage of positive profit, not a calculation of your actual tax.

The studio hourly rate is studio pay less the per-class cost, divided by your total time per class. Weekly hours include studio and corporate classes plus 75 minutes per private session, as assumed in this model. Workshop, retreat and other work hours are not included. Per-class expenses apply to studio and corporate classes; include other costs in annual expenses.
